A. Salvador is literally surrounded by beaches. They are where people go to relax, cool off, chill, socialize, eat, drink, dance, exercise, surf, and of course swim, they vary from crowded city beaches great for meeting people to tropical idylls up and down the coast. Most Recently Conde Naste Traveler ranked Salvador as  having one of the top 15 most beautiful beaches in the world.

Q. Is the city dangerous?
A. Take the normal precautions that you might in New York or London. If you feel safe in either place, there is no reason not to feel safe in Bahia.

Q. How far does the US Dollar go in Brasil?
A.  Given our current economy the dollar is constantly fluctuating… The great thing is it still goes much further than it goes here in the USA.

Q. Is the weather nice?
A. The nights in Salvador are perfect…most natives don’t even own a jacket…The average temperature is about 85 degrees with an almost constant ocean breeze surrounding the city. The nights are perfect.

 Q. Is The water safe to drink?
A. Just as in any other major city in the world, it is suggested that you stick to bottled or filtered water.

Q  Can I use My USA bank debit or credit Card In Brasil?
A. Although not every bank machine takes US cards enough of them do so you won’t have a problem.  Travelers checks are not widely accepted at many of the merchants. Cash is king and it increases your bargaining power.
